The scheduled days for their Super Regional at Gainesville is this Thursday, Friday, and on Saturday if necessary. It is a best two out of three games. Times have not been set yet due to the television networks.

After beating the #1 team in the nation this past weekend, the ladies have their hands full playing Florida, the #2 team, at Gainesville. I don't think Florida is any tougher than Minnesota and I think Bama can win this thing. Hitting has been the teams achilles heel this year and I keep thinking they are going to snap out of this big slump each game that they play but so far it hasn't happened. The pitching is at it's finest right now and we got Demi Turner back this past weekend from an injury which I think played a big role in their wins.

I know there are some on the team that can hit and hit well but they just aren't producing so maybe Thursday night it all happens. RTR!!!

We might as well get ready for a dog fight. It is going to be a really tough row to hoe to get back to the WS without hitting. RTR!

Interesting matchups.  The SEC is guaranteed to have at least two teams in the WS but could have as many as 6.  If the selection committee had made their picks without bias then the WS could have had an all SEC WS...

If I am not mistaken every seeded team 1-16 won their Regional and advanced to the Super Regional's.

Really?  I hadn't looked into it to that detail.  What are the odds that there would be no upsets in Regional play?  Also, if this is true (and I'm not doubting it), are the teams that were seeded 1-8 hosting the Super Regionals?
