What school or type of school would hire Les Miles? Do you think a major school like say Georgia, UCLA, Texas would hire him or his next job will be like Kentucky, Rice, Minnesota type team? Would he be out of the Power 5 Conferences? I don't think major schools are running to a coach who wants to run it off left tackle, right tackle, or up-the-middle 75% of the time and have a dink & dunk passing game of 4 yards or less.

I am sitting trying to think and see honestly what school might want this. One thing he will have to do I think is to have principles no matter if the best hoodie guys go somewhere else. I think he might be somewhere like Houston, or Texas or maybe even a DC for a Power 5 conference team. Baylor might even be a thought if he keeps his nose clean because the coach there said he was only there to help out. Oh yes, Grobe that is his name. RTR!

B1G 10 maybe, possibly Penn State.  95% of the schools out there would love to have Les Miles, and I suspect LSU will be lucky to find someone who can do better.

I was thinking the Big10 also.  Power rushing game would fit right in with their weather.  Nebraska maybe, somewhere with a lot of corn fed beef.

For my 2-cents, I'm expecting him to sit it out for a year, clear his head, reflect, and collect his severance.  Maybe do a little TV in 2017.  Then see what opens up.  He could be back coaching in '17 if the 'right' situation comes along.

One of the newer ACC schools (like UConn) could see him as a 'name' hire to beef up their recruiting and raise their game.  But his O style could not compete with Clemson, FSU etc so that would have to change.  That's why he needs time for reflection.

I had not thought of the Big Ten, especially Penn State. I think you're right on the money about that. Franklin is is on the hot seat with the overall poor record & play since he has gotten there. I wonder if his ego would let Miles go to a place like Minnesota or Iowa of the Big Ten or West Virginia of Big 12?

What about OK State? Pickens seems to be unhappy with current coach.

Interesting idea, he came from Okie State so that could be interesting.

Well I don't think Miles could go to Baylor. baptists don't eat grass, I know I am one of somewhat. lol, RTR!

Rumor out of Shreveport is that Les will manage a long-blade turf farm.
