That's an interesting read.  I'm surprised seemingly all of them (at least those used for the article) were that honest about how much better the players are these days.  Old athletes, especially the guys that play pro like a few of them did, don't usually like to admit that.

I think the 1992 defense could hang with any of them but other than that I would say no. The athelets we have today are just to much 5* material than what we had back then. I think we better coaches back then that got every drop of talent that one had out of them but now days it is all about the money it seems to me. Even the talent of today doesn't play totally up to what they are except maybe of the likes of Cooper, Ridley and those type of players. JMHO. RTR!
