Title: 2016 NFL Draft Wrap-Up & Rounds 4-7
Post by: Marshal Dillon on April 30, 2016, 03:13:23 PM
In early part of Round 6, draft breakdown:

SEC   40 (Bama 7)
ACC   19
Big Ten  35 (OSU 12)
Big 12  21
Pac 12  19

SEC has 40 draft picks even though LSU (3), Georgia (4) & Tennessee (0) had off years draft-wise. Still think Georgia has 2 more drafted, Tide 1 more like Dominic Jackson.

osu had 12 players drafted and couldn't win a NC title? What does that say about their coaching. RTR!

TN still has a young team.  Players entering this year's draft mostly recruited by Dooley.

The NFL draft is very similar to the college recruiting, lots of false promises by all. ;) :(

That was a killer to me. The NFL talks about how important their interviews with the players are come drafting time but yet Tunsil was picked 13th after his infamous interview. I guess "smoking weed" isn't so important after all. :dunno:

In my youth I was a big Cowboys fan.  Now I pray to God no Bama players get drafted there.

Better the Cowboys than the Browns or Raiders.

Tentatively I will say true dat.  Until Jones and carrot top are gone, I haven't much hope.

Great choices, like death by 20 rattlesnakes or death by shark.

I was a Cowboys fan in the Landry days.  I wasn't happy at first when Jerry bought the team, but then I was living in Dallas in the early 90s and went to some games -- the best being the September 1992 Monday Night Football game of Cowboys v. Defending Superbowl  Champ Redskins.  But Jerry couldn't keep his hand out of the cookie jar, or his face out of the press, and the rest is history.
