Is it Ramsey or Jack who hasn't gotten the "all clear" on his knee? Whoever it is, I'm not sure he'll go in the first.

Didn't expect to see this. Interesting.

Quote
29. ARIZONA CARDINALS: RYAN KELLY, C, ALABAMA
Arizona wanted to upgrade its edge rush this offseason and did so with the Chandler Jones trade. The Cardinals have a hole at center, and Kelly could start for them immediately. Alabama had a ton of success with Kelly opening holes for Derrick Henry in 2015. Kelly (6-4, 311) was an effective blocker over the past few years and has added weight to his frame for the NFL. In pass protection, he is a technician and a stable force in the middle of the line. Kelly is smart, intelligent blocker who should be able to compete immediately at the next level. On top of being smart and toughness, he is an above-average athlete. Sources have compared him to Nick Mangold. Kelly could play guard or center.

MD I think you truly might have something here. I hope all our guys do well in the NFL but I believe Ryan will be a star at center for somebody during his tenure I just believe it.  #+, RTR!

Doubt that either QB goes in the first 10 picks.  Neither is a franchise player.

Just my opinion.   :-*

I think they put too much stock in Goff, even though he is a good QB. Wentz, however, I think is the real deal. Reminds me of Joe Montana.

You think he'll go that early??

I do. First 5 for sure, but I really think 1 or 2.

It's all about needs.  The Rams certainly need a QB.  But... will they take one of these guys?  Both are projects for the future.  I'm guessing they trade the pick...

Bradford is asking to be traded from the Eagles. That tells me that they are going after one or the other.

The Rams traded their future to get that pick from the Titans. They better hope Goff turns out to be a star.

I have my doubts. I watched him play a little this year and he's good, but IMO, not the world beater everybody thinks he will be.

I know it is a smaller Division type school but Wentz is a winner. I am not sure he knows how to lose. I believe he make a good QB at the next level. I see him in the first 5 for sure. RTR!

He's a Tebow-type, and depended on running for much of his success.  He'll be a casualty if he tries that in the NFL...

In their championship game, he was deadly accurate.

This is why I say if he can be protected he would do well. Only one problem I will admit, going high in the draft as #1-5 or such you always go to a team that is not worth 2 cents i.e. Trent Richardson. If he goes high he may get killed because he has no protection thewn he would not do well. RTR!

10 minutes before draft, a pic was released, supposedly of Tunsil smoking a bong. ESPN has been bashing him non-stop since.

That video was circulating for a while.  Tunsil says it's 5 years old.  Maybe.

Either way, his stepfather must be a POS.  He's suspected in doing the damage!

I am speechless at A'Shawn Robinson not going in first round. What's going on? Does he have an injury the NFL found out about?

According to Walter Football A'Shawn didn't interview well and teams are questioning his passion for football.   What I heard during bowl season was that A'Shawn was one of the guys keeping the team focused and disciplined. Some team is going to get a steal grabbing him in the second round.

After the season, Ragland, Robinson, and Reed were all projected to go in the first round. Kelly being the only player taken in the first round is quite shocking.

It is surprising, but not shocking.  Robinson and Reed are strong run stoppers; not pass rushers.  None of the teams had a strong need.

Ragland was reported to have an enlarged aorta.

It doesn't take much for players to drop from the first round.  The draft is about TEAM NEEDS, not always PLAYER TALENT.

The NFL Network showed Saban and Urban Meyer quietly talking.

I imagine the conversation went something like:

Urban:  "Well it looks like Bama is not dominating the 1st Round Draft this year."

Saban: "How did OSU manage not to win a national championship this year with all that talent?"
