And actually this is two years in a row the SECCG has had little excitement in the buildup. The East has gotten awful.

It'll be tough. We're banged up, will have a letdown after beating the Aubs, and UF will be sky high. Their defense is good enough to steal one from us, just like Stallings' Bama teams used to do (with little offense). Expect a good game plan from McElwain. He's famous for screen passes, and we'll certainly see plenty of them (to slow our rush). And they'll have a good kicking game. We could lose if we give up turnovers. We protect the ball, play well on punts and kicks, and make them play us at the line of scrimmage: we win. We are no more beaten up than FL is. And we have more depth. FL's FG game is awful. Inside the 30, they are more likely to go for it on 4th and 5 than to try a FG. Their D is pretty good and we'll need an imaginative O game plan. If we stick to our stuff, they'll wear down in the 2nd half. |
