The top two teams from each division get byes when the conference tourney starts March 10 in Atlanta. While division leaders Florida and Alabama have the best conference records, each at 11-3, three other teams in the East have better league marks than Mississippi State and Arkansas, which are tied for second in the West at 7-7.
