Still undecided on a starting quarterback for next week's season-opener against No. 20 Wisconsin, Alabama coach Nick Saban recently asked one of his offensive linemen, "Which one of the quarterbacks do you like the best?"

The lineman responded, "Well, since we don't huddle, I don't even know who's in there."

Not overly worried about the lack of a clear starter at quarterback affecting offensive continuity, Saban said he has no set timetable for when he will decide which of Alabama's quarterbacks will play against Wisconsin.

"My question is, is it just like a known fact that you have to do this a certain way, that if you don't have a starting quarterback that means you can't get ready to play well, [that] if you play more than one guy ... that we can't play good?," a lighthearted Saban said. "I don't know.

"I have confidence in our guys that they will play well in the game. How we're going to play them in the game, I haven't decided. Look, I don't have a gun to my head saying, 'OK, if I don't know this by Saturday, I'm going to miss church and go jump off a bridge.' I ain't got there yet. I'm not there yet."

Time to panic?

CNS is the drama king, what would the sports writers do without him and Bama. I just love it.

According to the Saban Temperament Scale, this rates about an 8.2.  Wisconsin may not make it out alive.

I have a question for CNS. Are you going to run the score up or just make it a 1 or 2 point game? RTR!

To quote SC, "91-0"

I think we are loaded at QB and CNS thinks we can win with about 3 of them. Keeping the competition going is making each one of them prepare like the starter.

This seems like the longest offseason ever! I am ready to tee it up and get started.
