Title: Question about Coach Johnson
Post by: roll tide roll on July 30, 2015, 09:14:11 AM
I hear rumblings that many in Tuscaloosa are not happy with his hiring.

Also hear that his wife is demanding a house that is a minimum of 17,000 sf.

Any info?

A little sketchy there. Why are folks upset with him and she's demanding a 17,000 home sq. ft. from whom, her husband? Was this info overheard in a bar at 1:30 am?

 ???

Everything I hear and read about the CAJ hire is positive. In fact, very positive.

I have no idea what type of house Mrs. AJ wants. I think the fact his son transferred this summer from TA&M shows things are going good early on. The last thing most parents do is drag their kids into a bad situation.

Robert Horry seemed pretty optimistic.  I haven't heard anything bad.  :dunno:

As for the house, build them 2 of them.  1 now, and 1 after they win a national championship.

I have heard rumblings concerning the wife. Don't know if true or not. I've not heard anything negative from anyone about the hiring of CAJ.

I asked J when I first heard of that. He wasn't aware of anything.

 ???

I am always home before midnight.

I was surprised by the reports of people being unhappy w/ his hiring.

I was perplexed about the 17000 sf house part.

The only rumblings about CAJ in Tuscaloosa are the Auburn fans and they have a good reason to be rumbling. ;)

As is in most cases, when a women decides she wants a big house, she wants a big house. The university owns a lot of big houses in T-town and they aren't shacks so if Mrs. Johnson wants a big house, I'm sure she will get one.

Really, I haven't heard any negative talk since he signed his contract and the negative talk I heard before then was more pessimistic stuff than any anger toward him. I did hear the rumor of Mrs. Johnson not being happy with T-town but that was about the time of her first week in T-town. Avery Jr. is home with his momma now and I have heard nothing but praise for what he has accomplished since he signed the contract.

As for me, I'm enjoying every minute of watching CAJ build his championship program at Alabama. I did the same with Sarah Patterson, Pat Murphy, Nick Saban, Jay Seawell, and any other championship team that Bama has had. I feel very good about what CAJ can do at Alabama. RTR!!!

#+ to JAMOS for the report. Well done on all those teams you saw built. Please keep us up on any of the reports you are allowed to share with your brother Bama'ers. RTR!

I do not associate w/ fans of the school in Lee County.

I heard this directly from some seasoned alums.

I assumed the house issue was simply; what momma wants, momma gets.

I just thought it a little ridiculous and absurd.

They are building a server room here that is only 10,000 sf.

Where were you when Beebs was here?

My bad on that one and any others as well, another senior moment with my memory. Beebs and I are very good friends, I was a part of his golf tournament for the RISE program. He was a great coach and is a wonderful person.

By the way, I wasn't picking on you for your post either, just having a little fun.  :D RTR!!

Is your plumber a fan of Auburn or Tennessee? What about your family physician, next door neighbors, auto mechanic, brother/sister-in-laws, pastor, hv/ac guy, & others? Have you thoroughly investigated their backgrounds? Have you let slip any important or inside info on the Crimson Tide to one of these folks? Just wondering.

Not even my vet went to school there.

I am my own plumber.

All physicians are BAMA ,or UNC, grads.

My mechanic has an engineering degree from BAMA.

The HVAC guy went to NCState, but I do most of that as well.  He handles the warranty and maintenance work.

My pastor went to Arkansas.

I do have a cousin that went to the school in knoxville. :dunno:
