Alabama loses Game One 10-2.

We need to take Game Two tonight and win again tomorrow. We need this series bad.

Alabama lost Game Two 4-0. Alabama only had 4 hits and struck out 11 times. Jake Waters had a good start giving up 6 hits and 1 run in 7 strong innings. Ray Castillo game in to pitch the 8th and gave up a 2 run HR and a solo shot. We try to avoid the sweep today at noon.

Alabama falls to 22-20 on the year and 7-13 in SEC. Those numbers are unacceptable. We have lost 5 of 7 SEC series. We are in danger of having a losing season and not making the SEC Tournament. I know this has been a difficult season playing every game on the road. We have to travel just to practice. We have also played a difficult schedule with our SOS at # 6. Our RPI has fallen to #49. Going into today's game we are 11th in the SEC 1 game ahead of last place.

I have supported CMG but this year we have gone backward. We have decent pitching. Mikey White, Georgie Salem and Kyle Overstreet are juniors and likely will be selected in the MLB draft. Casey Hughston is having a good year. We have the players to compete. It must be the coaching. We still have three SEC series to get things turned around but this years is looking like a disaster.

Another mistake by Bill Battle in giving this coach a 6th year. We can do much better than this.

What are the odds on Gaspard returning next year?

If we finish with a losing overall record, a losing SEC record, & don't make the SEC Tourney, hopefully his chances of being fired would be 110%. Wow, what a horrible year for baseball.
