Title: No. 5 Alabama finds heroes, wins Tennessee series: 2 games to 1 Post by: Jamos on April 24, 2015, 10:17:18 PM Patrick Murphy was searching for a hero after Game 1. Though it wasn't quite that dramatic, the Alabama softball coach found an answer Friday night against Tennessee.

Leslie Jury pitched a very good game and came within one out of throwing a complete game. Bama still struggled at the plate tonight but managed to get some walks and timely hitting to pull this one out.
Demi Turner was taken out of the game with what seemed to be an injured left ankle in the 6th inning. She was walking but had a noticeable limp. Tomorrow is a big game as Bama is fighting to host a regional and super regional tournament. I think they need to win this one to have a good chance in hosting a super regional. Auburn seems to be the media darling in the SEC this year so they need to lose a couple of games which would help Bama. Alabama got 4 runs in the 4th to take a 6-1 lead. UT is coming back in the 5th. They have scored 2 runs and have the bases loaded with 2 outs. The game just went into a weather delay with Bama leading 6-3 but UT is threatening.
