He finally admitted he was a bald-faced liar a couple of years ago. Plus, he went to federal prison for income tax evasion. I grew up a lot watching Pete run to 1st base when others would walk half way down there. I think they called him MR Hustle at that time. I look at it like this the LORD gave me a 2nd chance if he hadn't I would be headed straight to HELL. So, in my opinion Pete should get a 2nd chance and maybe for his players work on the the HOF. We shall see it's not all over yet. JMHO. RTR!

What he did off the field wasn't right but what he did on the field is what baseball should be all about. With inside knowledge he would know things about other teams which would give him an advantage. The rules are clear, no betting on baseball, no exceptions. He knowingly violated the biggest rule in baseball. He was greedy & got caught then lied about it for over 20 years.
