And that was certainly the right thing to do. I've been busting on MD some today out of fun, but no one really wanted that baggage. Some of us, definitely including me, were giving Saban the benefit of the doubt because he is, well....Nick Saban, and were hoping he could help turn the kid around. Obviously, that didn't work so, get help Mr. Taylor, but not while you play for Bama!

Definitely agree this was right.  While I would rather have him playing for us while being a productive citizen, he decided to take another route.  To Taylor I say, "Adios! Don't let the door hitcha where the Good Lord splitcha!"

I seriously doubt that Saban will ever take a chance on a woman beater, again. A media frenzy is going now & sports radio will be going crazy on Monday. For example:

Quote
"This isn't a mistake," Redmond Brown said. "It's ingrained and it's wrong behavior, and I hate when people call it a mistake. What you teach people is you're making excuses for horrible behavior and you're setting a standard that it's OK. I talk to athletes all the time and they know what wrong looks like. But we dumb all these things down for them as if they don't know.
