Auburn put more emphasis on this game than CMG did. They pitched their ace 117 pitches into the 7th inning. We pitched Jake Hubbard who has never started a weekend game for us. CMG must be trying to keep his weekend rotation in tack to get them ready for SEC in two weeks. The barn holds a 5-1 record in this game. They always win this game but we win the more important SEC series. It is far too early to write this team off or fire the coach. We have been to 4 regionals and 1 super regional in 5 years under CMG. We were within 1 game of the super regionals last year.
