He made the putt, but is actually tied for 5th.

Justin Thomas is off to a great start of his rookie season. He finished T6 last week to win $163K. This week he finished T7 and will get another nice payday. Two top 10 finishes to start the season is outstanding. The TV guys raved about his potential. He is very long and can putt. Good combination.

They sure did and they talked about his good friendship with Jordan Spieth who beat Bama with a  long putt for the National Championship a few years back. Speith was sending him messages last night. I agree with the TV guys, he has a lot of potential.

He better not get near me. He doesn't want that stink on him.  :lol2:

Congrats on another great tourney for him. He is not at all intimidated by the limelight.

Justin finished at -7 and is tied for 2nd. Ex FSU golfer David Berger is also 21 years old and leads at -8. The young guns are ruling golf!

Tiger shot the worst round of his professional career today, 82, and not only missed the cut, but is dead last in the field.

Yeah, he's definitely got a long way to go to get it back. I don't see it happening any time soon, Preacher.

I don't see it ever happening. His mind is on another game now and father time comes into play more and more with every year that passes by. ;)

Justin Thomas had an up and down 3rd round to finish -2 for the day. He is at -9 which is tied for 5th. He was even on the front with one birdie and one bogie. He double bogied 10 but had 4 birdies on the back side. He is definitely in the hunt going into the final round.

This young man has a game and hopefully his run of good play will last and give us Bama fans something else to cheer for during the off season of football.

Justin is 30th on the earnings list having earned $570,436 already this year, not bad for a rookie.

I see he has biridies in groups so that should make him a leader without bad play if he can get it. Go Justin. Hammer down! RTR!

He has three top 10 finishes in his last four tournaments. He is working on another top 10. He is very long, hits a lot of greens and can putt.

It is a great sport Ricky. I was fortunate to be able to start playing while I was in high school. I have played ever since. I don't always play well but I always have fun. I learned a long time ago that you have bad days but it still beats being at work.

Justin is unflappable. He had a double bogey on #10, but never gave in. He birdied 4 of the last 8 holes. Looking forward to watching him again today.

Crap! He's out of contention at -7. Leaders are at -14. Justin is tied for 27th.

He can pick up a few stokes on the back side to get a decent finish but he can not catch the leaders.

Yeah, still proud of him. He's a great talent and picking up some good paydays. We will see him win this year, I feel pretty sure.

Justin Thomas missed the cut this week.  :( He shot 72 & 73 to finish +1. The cut line was -1.

Michael Thompson is having a good tournament. He is -6 good for T6 going into today's third round.

Brook Pancake is doing very well in PURE SILK BAHAMAS LPGA CLASSIC. She is -6 and tied for 2nd. I am not sure why but she and many others did not finish her second round yesterday. Her play was stooped after 11 holes.

Yeah, I was watching the men's tourney and was disappointed that JT missed the cut. There will be plenty more opportunities for him. I hope MT continues to play well. He's struggled for a while. Watching the tourney, I saw the streamer where Brook is in the hunt.

Bama golf representin'!
