Title: FSU QB Winston Shoves Official in BC game
Post by: Marshal Dillon on November 22, 2014, 09:23:47 PM
Winston shoved the official who was preventing him from taking a snap but received no penalty. FSU & Winston has the entire ACC cowed & afraid of them. Amazing.

ESPN has the story & their consultant also says JW should have been ejected.

Like somebody said earlier, we now know where the Barn's golden horseshoe is.

You know I seen this this thing over and over on the spot tapes. I found something equal to this penalty. obama and winston are the 2 bosses of this country and college football. You bother winston and the under the table money stops to the official. MHO and nobody elses. RTR!

The official, Mike Webster, was WRONG..a flag should have been thrown, and the thug ejected.  I wonder what the ACC head of Officials will have to say on this..another half-a**ed explanation, excuse?

The ref involved will probably be disciplined for getting in the way of Winston.

I just saw the replay for the first time. He, indeed, should have been ejected.

I'm pretty sure at this point that Winston could be caught on camera cooking and eating a human, and 1) no legal action would be taken; 2) FSU fans would still accuse the media, police, and everyone else who had a problem with it of being on a witch hunt.

Absolutely! I've never seen anything like it. And I guarantee you, his escapades aren't over. It will be very interesting to see where his position will be in the NFL draft. I'm thinking the NFL is very leery of Jaboo Winston.

It still amazes me that he is to ignorant to realize what he is/has done to his own reputation...

Winston has probably been coddled & protected since the 7th grade football team. He thinks he is so "special" that someone will always to be there to protect him. He is totally clueless about his behavior & reputation. He is going to take a hard fall, sooner or later.

The contact between Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston and an official in Saturday's Boston College game was "incidental and insignificant" and did not warrant an unsportsmanlike penalty, said the ACC's coordinator of officials.

"I don't think [Winston] realized it. He was caught up in the excitement of the moment," Fisher said. "Hey, you get emotional. He didn't realize. He thought he could snap the ball. ... He knew that was his job -- get out there and set and snap the ball."

"Mongo like football."

Give me a break, ACC crew. He knew exactly what he was doing!

Total bullsmith. If that's the NFL you are G-O-N-E and probably suspended and fined. Like I said before, the ACC is cowed by this whole sordid soap opera involving Winston. The ACC is loving the fact they have a football team that can actually win & play football.

The ACC is drunk after winning the NC last year and probably think they are going to continue the "new" dynasty by winning the first ever playoff NC... little do they know they probably won't make it past the semi game... That is assuming they even make it to that game since UF has a decent chance at upsetting them this Saturday...

And still have to play a very good Ga. Tech team for the ACC championship.

I agree.  They better look out for the Gators.  That would be awesome.

Course, we still have to play Awbren and hopefully a good UGA or Mizzou team too...

Plus a Florida team looking for some respect.

9.5 point line on the FL FLSt game.

9.5 point line on the Bama Barn game.

I know which one I'd give the points.
