Demetris Robertson played only his second game of the season Friday, but was reportedly in late-season form.

Robertson, a 5-star junior recruit who committed to Alabama in July, had to sit out most of the season before finally attaining eligibility last week after transferring schools.

He scored four touchdowns for Savannah Christian Prep in a 37-7 region win over Claxton, according to a report from the Savannah Morning News.

Robertson had 135 yards of total offense. He scored on runs of 27, 9, 4 and had a 75-yard kickoff return

I hope this kid stays committed and also stays on the academic straight and narrow.

Can he start for us against Miss State?  We're thin on RBs.  :lol2:
Yeah, those academic issues in high school portend struggles in college...
