Sounds like he's punted this season.

You gotta admire him for eliminating the undesirables.

I would say he has punted next year, too. You just can't keep running off some of your best players/starters.

If they are not buying into the systems he has in place, then its probably the best thing for the program. Plus  it frees up room to bring in top recruits to fill those voids with guaranteed playing time. He gets to change the culture and lure top prospects from A&M with guaranteed playing time.

I have long admired Coach Strong.  This statement reinforces my respect of him.

Quote
"We will continue to develop young men," Strong said. "We will continue to ask them to follow our core values, which all of them have been brought up on. They understand what the core values are. When you are asked to do something, then you're part of a team. When you don't (follow rules), you affect the whole team and you affect the program."

Precisely what I thought when I read the statement by Strong...

To have a coach with these types of values is one of the best things you can expect out of him. He actually sounds like he puts these young men's welfare above the game. This is truly great. You go Coach Strong. Good morning to everybody. My wife did not get to take her cancer treatments this week. Her platelets are to low but she had to go get a tooth pulled this morning. So I just pray all is well. RTR!

Hey 2 you know you are so appreciated as everyone else but know your prayer will make a difference. The reason we know we put this in the hands of JESUS. We pray for all the families here and it is such an honor for someone to speak of us on open page.  RTR!
