Brown is in line for his most playing time yet Saturday against Florida.

Brown was spotted working with the first-team nickel defense opposite junior Cyrus Jones. Jackson started the past two games opposite of Jones, but exited in last week's third quarter with an injury.

"Tony's definitely improving, definitely getting better," Alabama coach Nick Saban said after Wednesday's practice. "I think the opportunities that he's had to play in the last two games have been good for his development and his confidence. He will play a lot in this game."

He looked good in the A Day game. I thought then he would be starting by mid season. He has a very high ceiling but he is a true freshman. He plays tight coverage and gets a quick jump on the ball. He just needs to avoid the big mistake while playing aggressive.

I think with the speed tony has, he can maybe make up a close mistake. He just needs, to me, take what he can but let the other come to him. I do expect an INT. out of him before long and return it. RTR!

With the play of our corners last few years, I'll gladly settle for breaking up a perfectly thrown ball.
