Officers met with Johnson, but immediately smelled marijuana inside and searched his hotel room for drugs or paraphernalia. They found a duffle bag filled with two and a half pounds of pot as well as two digital scales covered in residue and $9,575 in cash.

What a maroon!  :lol2:

The sophistication of the criminal in this country today is truly pathetic. No wonder that we lag behind other countries in so many categories.

Johnson was arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail, where his bond was set at $250,000. The police department seized the drugs and money as fruits of crime forfeitures.

According to court documents, Johnson posted his bail Thursday and is no longer in police custody.
