SC likes to have the games available by Sunday night so he can enter them for the week.

And it's the easiest time for me to get on the computer.

If there were a delay post function, it would be perfect.  I could post this tonight and have it show up Sunday morning.

We should NOT have Alabama as a choice and exempting them is a good idea. Indiana at Missouri is a dog because Indiana is bad. Your other 9 games are good but I vote to add:

I suggest we add both of the above and drop the Thursday night game. we have a few pickem players that aren't posting their picks till Friday or early Saturday.
     And stay away from the BAMA game if at all possible.

I understand the hesitancy to use Thursday night games, but it is such a good game, on paper. Tough call due to late posters.

Re Auburn:  We only pick up Thursday night games if they are very interesting, and this one has been talked about since pre-season.  SC changed the method of picking so that you can pick each game individually (and can change picks up to game time); that way if someone is late they only miss one game.  This was in direct response to the concern over Thursday night games.  I agree with MD that this is a more interesting game than SDS v. Oregon State.  But we can put it to a vote:

I updated the tiebreaker with the new total of 672 yards of offense.  It did not change the outcome of the contest, but it might come into play in the overall contest.

It just tightened my grip on the bottom of the ol' totem poll, that much more.  :D
