Title: Week 2 Games
Post by: Catch Prothro on August 30, 2014, 11:39:59 PM
Looks like most SEC teams have cupcakes in week 2.  These were the best games I saw:

12:00 PM   No. 4 Oklahoma at Tulsa   ABC ESPN2
12:00 PM   No. 20 Kansas State at Iowa State   FOX Sports 1
12:00 PM   No. 24 Missouri at Toledo   ESPN
12:00 PM   Arkansas State at Tennessee       SEC
2:00 PM   UAB at Mississippi State   ESPN3
3:30 PM   No. 15 USC at No. 11 Stanford   ABC
3:30 PM   Northern Illinois at Northwestern   BTN
3:30 PM   Maryland at South Florida   CBS Sports Network
4:30 PM   No. 18 Ole Miss at Vanderbilt   ESPN
6:30 PM   No. 8 Michigan State at No. 3 Oregon   FOX
7:00 PM   San Jose State at No. 6 Auburn   ESPN2
7:00 PM   East Carolina at No. 9 South Carolina   ESPNU
7:30 PM   Michigan at No. 17 Notre Dame   NBC
7:30 PM   BYU at Texas   FOX Sports 1
8:00 PM   Virginia Tech at No. 5 Ohio State   ESPN

Yes, some interesting non-conference games, but Ole Miss v. Vandy is the only SEC matchup, and I'm thinking it won't be close.  Toledo, Arkansas State and UAB are the toughest non-conference matchups that SEC teams will face this week.

If Ole Miss totally blows Vandy out, it will be a very long season at Vandy and that coach may not survive more than one year. He can't claim he inherited a mess.

Games are posted.  No line for BYU at Texas, so I went with East Carolina at South Carolina.  Probably because of all of the injuries that Texas had.

I think SC is ready to end week 1 early and move onto week 2.  8)

ECU v. USC should be a good one.

Exactly.  Really hard to pick hot/cold teams like USCe/ECU.  Expect dozens of mistakes per quarter!

Well I have to admit that Friday evening I came in and changed my picks. Everyone that I changed I lost. If I had left well enough alone I might just have been 10-0. Don't worry though you have an experience man on the bottom holding up the totem pole. With pleasure of course. lol, RTR!
