Better article than title.  This is worth the read:

1. CBs
2. Kicking
3. Defending the HUNH

3 days.   :popcorn2:

1. CBs - should be better
2. Kicking - yet to be seen, wouldn't take much to improve
3. HUNH - seems refs are going to help here, plus Saban probably lays awake in bed at night figuring ways to improve here

Bottom line: Bama will make the college playoff.  And win it.

Agree with you.   :worship:

4. Winning - We've lost the last 2.
5. Pass rush - Gonna happen!

I would add that we need improvement in the Oline, as well.

This was my comment on this story on AL.com Thoughts?

All good points made and certainly is a point of concern, but I think that we will be ok. While we did not win at Auburn last year we had the opportunity to do so on many trips into the scoring zone that we did not capitalize on. Then when we played in the Sugar Bowl they were lackadaisical for the most part. We had four turnovers that led directly to 28 points. Bottom line is that we played terribly as a whole but there bright spots as well. The emergence of Derrick Henry being the brightest. This year we are loaded with talent and for the most part have some depth in most positions. So again I think that we will be ok. Will we reach the playoff? I would like to think yes but there is a lot of games between now and then and too many unknowns that can happen for the good or the bad. So we will get a bit of the answer this Saturday and see how it all works out.

Sounds about right Peewee.  I can't wait to watch Henry this year, he is going to be special before he leaves the Capstone.

I see all these points are good. I really think our #1 game winner is where and when the coaches decide to try FG's. The punting sounds good. We are aware that running the guy who ran over Oklahoma last year, might be a good thing to use. RTR!

1. Why & based on what?
2. LOL! You nailed it but we need MAJOR improvement in all areas in the kicking game.
3.Agree.

I think the DB's will be much better. Experience is the main reason. Phil Savage said on JOX this week that Cyrus Jones was a wide receiver playing corner last year but he is a corner back this year. We have two stud freshmen that will push the starters. We are strong at both safety slots. We have more depth this year and the pass rush will be improved.

The biggest thing that helps corners is a good pass rush.  FG's/red zone production needs to improve.  HUNH a good pass rush will also help his, especially since there doesn't seem to be a Johnny Clipboard this year.

This is what I keep saying we need the most.I hope we have come up with an effective blitz package.
