Quote
According to a press release and confirmed over the phone to AOL, the actor Robin Williams was found dead in his residence Monday afternoon by emergency personnel. A 911 call was recorded at 11:55 a.m., reporting a male adult had been found unconscious and unresponsive at his residence in Tiburon, Calif. The subject was pronounced deceased at 12:02 P.M. and has been identified as Robin Williams. Williams was 63.

Quote
An investigation into the death is reportedly underway, according to the Sheriff's Office, but the coroner suspects the death to be suicide due to asphyxia.

The world has lost one of the funniest people that ever lived on it. I knew he had a history of battling demons. I never thought it would come to this.

Saw this a few minutes ago.  He recently tweeted a photo with his 25-year-old daughter.

Prayers for the family.

What a tragedy. A true comic genius who could also be an awesome dramatic actor. My prayers to his family.  :(

A very talented guy but he took a coward's way out. It is very selfish. You leave your loved ones to pick up the pieces and cope with the loss of a family member. How bad do things get when you want to kill yourself?

Another example that money does not buy happiness.

 for the family and friends who will miss him dearly. He seemed to be one of the most friendly out of Hollywood. Praise GOD for great people. RTR!

It is very hard so often to understand the workings of God.

The death of Robin Williams is very sad.
It is extra sad because he was given the gift of life
along with great talent but chose to snuff it out because
there were things he could not deal with.

Early this morning my brother-in-law Jeff died from
cancer.  He loved his life and family dearly and wanted
to live more than anything but was not given a choice.

Thank you Jamos.  I am just so sad for my sister and what she has been going through the past year with Jeff's illness and being on chemo herself (but now in remission).  Her daughters are with her today, and she is getting some needed rest.

Tomorrow will be food and emotional support from many people....my sister is strong.

I add my condolences to you family, CP. As much as I appreciated his talent, Robin wasted it all with this last act. It is people like your brother-in-law that deserve the headlines: people who love their families and keep fighting until the end.

Suicide is a subject that puzzles me a good bit.  I don't understand how someone could do that.  However, sometimes when "things" get really bad I can see how that thought might creep in.  Maybe one really must be "out of his mind" to be able to do that.  I just don't know...
