What Reggie Ragland brought that sophomore Reuben Foster couldn't throughout the spring was health and stability. Needless to say, Foster will be a regular player on Alabama's defense and he's a key member of it heading into the future. But Ragland is the answer for the immediate present. Ragland simply has to maintain the level of play he achieved throughout the spring for another four weeks in order to make his first career start Aug. 30 against the Mountaineers...

I think everyone would like to see a healthy Reuben Foster unleash a few of his famous crushing hits on the Mountaineers.  But can he stay away from injuries?  The man throws his body into every tackle, so his health remains a question mark.

It sounds like we've two great players and I expect they'll both get playing time early in the season to see if one can distinguish himself.

If Reuben stays healthy, I expect we will see some good hard nosed football. Reggie is going to be a force I think  because of his smartness and ability to move fast. I may be wrong but sure hope not. RTR!

We have enough talent, especially young talent, that hopefully this year we'll see the 'power LBs' in there against power teams, and see the 'quick LBs' playing more against the high-school-like, playgroundish, Big-8-type offenses that the Aubs have adopted.
