Title: NFL, NCAA Investigation, & Alabama
Post by: Marshal Dillon on July 22, 2014, 09:14:23 PM
I vaguely remember this, but now I remember it involving Fluker. This is getting interesting & somewhat disturbing.

Quote
Luther Davis, the subject of a Yahoo! Sports investigation over alleged impermissible benefits given to players at three SEC schools, has been denied certification through the NFL Players Association, according to a source.

Quote
Davis reportedly acted as an intermediary between agents and financial advisors and SEC players, most notably former Alabama left tackle D.J. Fluker. Players from Tennessee and Mississippi State also were linked to benefits in the report, though the NCAA has cleared the Bulldogs in the case.

This situation with Luther Davis and Fluker has had me concerned since we first heard of it a year or so ago. Three schools were originally involved. UT immediately suspended their player. MSU was cleared of any wrong doing. Just because things have been quite does not mean the NCAA is not looking at us further. The NCAA clowns take 3-5 years to investigate anything except Cam Newton which only took about 6 hours.

I hope we get cleared like MSU. Fluker is not cooperating with the NCAA which is a good thing. The Yahoo article had a bunch of evidence that looked bad if it was real.

The first thought of us against the World is so true. NCAA is always trying to something down at Alabama but CNS runs a clean program. I am not worried. RTR!
