Title: CNS updates Alabama injuries involving Reuben Foster, Grant Hill after A-Day
Post by: Jamos on April 22, 2014, 10:36:23 PM
Linebacker Reuben Foster got "a slight concussion" when diving for the legs of Kenyan Drake late in the first half Saturday. The rising sophomore appeared to hit his head on Drake's leg before going down hard. Foster, who made two tackles behind the line with the second team, appeared woozy and was helped to the locker room early.

Thanks for all the good news.

Coming out of the spring, injury issue remain with a handful of prominent players. Receiver DeAndrew White (toe) and defensive lineman Darren Lake (pectoral muscle) missed all of spring, but should be back in August.

Early-enrollee freshman Tony Brown played with a black non-contact jersey Saturday with the shoulder injury he re-aggravated a few weeks.

I'm not sure if he'll be starting or not, but I'm thinking Reuben lined up on the end in Nickel and Dime on 3rd downs like Hightower used to do would increase our sack production (as long as he had his head up looking for the ball).
