Recently there were some of you interested in having a tailgate party that day and I need to know if there is still interest in doing it. I need a firm head count to see if there is enough interest yet and if there isn't, maybe there could be a Plan B.

Let's get the ball rolling. ;)

Due to the lack of tailgaters to commit, we need to move to Plan B.

All that care to come, we'll have a burger at Rama Jamas and tell some lies. It's always a lot of fun there and we don't have to worry about what the weather does.

If more folks decide they would like to tailgate this week, we'll fire up the grill if everyone agrees, otherwise it will be Rama Jamas. We'll set a time to meet up later this week and all suggestions are appreciated.

Depending on where the tailgate is I can be there with my kids.  That makes 7... Will have to hit the road after the game though as this Saturday is my youngest's 6th birthday and Momma will need to see her baby...

It's the same place that you came to last, on Bryant Dr. If we go to Rama Jamas, it's next to the stadium but you would still want to park on Bryant Dr, it's much easier getting out after the game. What is your route coming in Saturday?

We might be in town as well, but it depends on logistics. 

If the weather is nice I might come through Northport because the scenary is nicer than driving through Birmingham...Either way, I know your location.  What time will you be setting up?  Send me a PM letting me know what I can bring.

I will be in town around 8:00 am so I reckon I will be where ever the crowd shows up!!!!

We have enough to fire up the grill if that is what everyone would like or we can go to Rama Jamas for a burger. I'll let all of you that is coming make that decision, just cast your vote. It's a 1pm kickoff and seats are first come first serve so we will need to eat around 11am.

I would prefer the grill over Rama Jamas personally.  Will go along with everyone else's preference though.

J, would it be easier for everyone to bring food instead of having to deal with cooking?

Looks like the wife will have to work, so I'll be watching on TV.

No, grilling is ok as long as mother nature provides us with the weather. I just talked with Evans Fitts and he thinks he will be around to open the door for bathroom purposes.

The forecast for Saturday is 79 degrees with a slight chance of a stray shower during the day, it should be a fun day for everyone. I will be cooking on the grill so bring a big appetite with you.

2, there is a slight chance of a shower Friday but nothing big to hinder our golf.

What a great day! Other than the QB's stinking the A Day game up for the most part, the day was great. As usual, Jamos was a super host and griller extraordinaire. CRS attendees (besides Jamos and myself) were Leewillie, NALT and his terrific kids, PeeWee, pmull and his 2 beautiful daughters.

A grand time was had by all. Can't wait until football season so we can do it all over again......hopefully with a vastly superior QB at the helm in Jacob Coker.  :lol2:

It was a great time and my kids thoroughly enjoyed the whole event.  The food was incredible!  Hat's off to Jamos and his grilled moose droppings...just awesome!  Good food, good friends and the chance to put some faces with names that have been around here for a while, new friends...

A tip of my hat and e-cred to my good friend Jamos for hosting the tailgate. If you have never attended one of his tailgates you need to try to get to a game this fall. You will have a good time. Jamos is one of the nicest gentlemen I know.

It was good to meet LeeWillie and NALT. It was also good to see Peewee and 2 again.

I can not thank Jamos enough for putting this outing together.

I want to add my thanks to Jamos for his hospitality again yesterday. I enjoyed being with the group yesterday. A special thanks to Mrs. J for making sure we had everything we needed. Was good to see NALT and his family again and to meet 2stater, pmull, and PeeWee.

Man, don't thank Jamos, it was you guys showing up that made it so much fun. Thanks to all of you and your friends and children, hopefully we'll have a chance next year to have more CRS members there. ;)

Yep I agree 100% It was a great day yesterday and such a pleasure to meet every one. Good Fellowship had by all, Jamos my Brother you are the man. If he would have gotten his way by getting us to eat as much as he wanted us too I may have not made it to the game!!
