I'm going to start trying to give at least one e-cred per day, and explain why.

We've gotten away from the practice.

To start, I awarded one to Preacher today.  It's a beautiful Sunday, and he spent some of his day spreading joy on CRS.  Thanks, Preacher.   :worship:

By the way, I had a moment of Bama Awesomeness yesterday. I was stopped at a redlight and the guy beside me honked. I looked over to see a Bama cap and shirt on. The light turned, so we had to go, but soon got stopped by another light. We rolled our windows and briefly (like, for 10 seconds) discussed the upcoming season. He then asked me what year I graduated ('99) and told me was class of '92. We then yelled "Roll Tide!" as the light turned green. Made my day!

I can' remember if I mentioned this or not, but the day after we met you for supper, we went into DC for sight-seeing. We parked by the Washington Monument and got out of the car. The first person we encountered was a girl that saw my Bama shirt and yelled Roll Tide! She asked where we were from and of course I told her Pensacola. In the nicest southern drawl, she held up her hand and said "I'm from Mobile".  :clap:

"I can remember back in the fiftys, my Dad stopped the car and said "let me show you something" we had left a rural area north of Griffin Ridge that morning to go in to Tuscaloosa to get some seeds and fertilizer. We walked out into the woods overlooking a stream and he pointed out an oak tree with a knot on it. He said when he was growing up  Mother nature took out her vengeance on the area and drove a 2x4 into that oak tree . The 2x4 was 8 feet long and he said he saw it when both ends were visible, and the oak was 4 foot thick! Now, all that was visible was a KNOT! He said , next time your Mom says head for the cellar, GO, and take your friends with you! I will never forget it, lesson learned!"
