It may be. The announcers on the Fl/Miami game were just announcing the score and talking about Bama being out of pitchers.

They must be in a rain delay in Tallahassee. It's still showing 8-0 in the top of the 6th.

Game over Bama loses 11-1.

END OF SEASON COMMENTARY:  I think the team did about as this year as they were expected to do.  They started off slow, made a good mid-season run, then kind of ran out of gas at the end.  The starting pitchers developed as the season went along, not so for the bullpen.  Out inability to hold a lead in the late innings was a major problem.
The other major problem was that we lost out entire infield from last year who all hit for high averages and also good power.  With the exception of Reaves at shortstop, none of the other infielders came close to matching the offensive power of the guys they replaced.  So I guess you could say this was a rebuilding year.

We'll lose starters Bennett, Kilcrease, and Smart.  Here's hoping we can develop a stronger bullpen and find some consistent hitting in the off season.

We will also lose Dugas and most likely Morgan to MLB.

At the start of the year I thought this team was in a major rebuilding year. I did not expect to make the SEC tourny. They came out slow but was on fire to start the SEC season. I think CMG got all he could out of this team. All in all I think we did OK.

We need some more power in our line up. This years team is small. They are a bunch of over-acheiving 165 lb guys. We went through innings at a time without getting the ball out of the infield. I hope CMG is able to recruit some HS and JC kids that can give up a lttle pop in the line up. (I not talking HR's. Everybody had less HR this year with the new bats. We need to be able to hit line drives that find the OF gaps and the occassial HR.)

The little guys gave it all they had and that is all a coach can ask for. It's awful tough on a baseball coach to build a team due to the pro draft but hopefully Gaspard can recruit can do some good recruiting and if the ones coming back next next can step their game up a notch, who knows, it might be their year. I like what Gaspard has done so far.
