I like Vandy better than Ole Miss, and without the pickem I would have been rooting for them.  Also, when a team in the SEC West loses it puts Bama closer to the SECCG.

Dudes! 21 pages?1? You guys must have been jonesin something awful in the off-season.

Here's my take from the evening.

1. The SEC plays blisteringly fast. Watching sportcenter highlights you get to see different games from different leagues kind of back-to-back. The speed difference is really easy to see.

2. The hurry-up offense produces an exciting first half and a sloppy, hot mess of a second half. This was easily seen in the Ole Miss vs. Vandy game. I think it's a shame that an otherwise well-played game turns in to a mistake-fest in the third quarter owing to fatigue-related mental and physical mistakes.

3. When Louisville goes undefeated and ends up out of the BCS bowls they can thank the Likes of UConn. UConn 18 - Towson State 33. Tuhruble.

4. Clowney was awful. They say he had a stomach virus this week and that may have taken a lot out of him. He has a long week to recover, so we'll see what he looks like next Sat.

5. USCs early performance against Hawaii didn't impress. They are gonna have a tough time in conference.

I just read that the last time Hawaii scored a TB on the kiffs

Ditto...not that I don't like Ole Miss, I do...but I usually like to pull for the underdogs and I'm always pulling for Vandy to upset somebody  ;)

Vandy just does not have the depth, team speed, & overall talent to be a factor in the SEC. They might pull an upset and win 6-7 games, but they are still Vandy.

Ole Miss - Vandy was an entertaining game. I don't think either is going to do well against the upper tier SEC teams. Neither team has a defense.
