I have always loved listening to Eli. He has always been a pure Alabama man. I like to turn the CBS guys off and listen to Eli. RTR! I never listen to the announcers on TV, it's either radio or silence.

He's not only a great football, he did a great job in the 90's as a Nascar announcer on TNN. He was much better than any of the current Nascar announcers including the drivers who should know the sport.
