I have always loved listening to Eli. He has always been a pure Alabama man. I like to turn the CBS guys off and listen to Eli. RTR!

Me too, a lot of people complain about him but for me, he is the voice of Alabama football.  I never listen to the announcers on TV, it's either radio or silence.

Good read Ricky. I like to listen to Eli call the games myself.

I listen to Eli instead of the TV announcers, too.

He's not only a great football, he did a great job in the 90's as a Nascar announcer on TNN.  He was much better than any of the current Nascar announcers including the drivers who should know the sport.

If I remember correctly from my childhood, he also has a very very large baseball card collection.
