Title: Ohio State chickens out of Georgia Series Post by: Catch Prothro on June 01, 2012, 08:59:19 AM http://tracking.si.com/2012/05/31/ohio-state-georgia-series-cancelled/?xid=si_ncaaf
Quote Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity said at the SEC spring meetings that Ohio State backed out of an agreement to play the Bulldogs in 2020 and 2021. So, CUM is afraid of the Bulldogs?Title: Re: Ohio State chickens out of Georgia Series Post by: KoKoPuf on June 01, 2012, 09:35:02 AM I don't know why he would be afraid of the Dawgs, he owned them while he was at Florida!

We're talking 2020 anyway. CUM will have left for ND long before then. The Big 10 and SEC have been making all the noise. I'm wondering if those 2 conferences are as fed up with the SEC as the Big 10 and "Sour grapes" Delany? One of those two agrees with the SEC that it should be the best four teams. Care to guess which one?Title: Re: Ohio State chickens out of Georgia Series Post by: 2Stater on June 02, 2012, 11:06:00 AM It would seem, unless I missed it, that the Big 12 and Pac 12 have been pretty quiet on the subject. Title: Re: Ohio State chickens out of Georgia Series Post by: ricky023 on June 02, 2012, 11:59:49 AM Well I don't blame Coach Urban Meyer, because he has been here in the SEC. He knows the talent that is here. He also knows the kind of talent on his football and knowing all that he knows his talent can not beat the stuff Georgia has, and no not taking up for Georgia, just stating the obvious. RTR!

Yeah, that makes sense. And the Big12 joining the SEC for similar reasons, as outsiders to the Rose BowlAnother factor may be history, as the Big12 is the only other conference with a non-conference champion making the BCSCG. In fact, the Big12 has placed a non-conference champion twice in the BCSCG, 2001 Nebraska and 2003 Oklahoma. Neither of those teams won the Big12, but they competed in the BCSCG. And now the SEC and Big 12 are setting up their champions for bowl games with each other. Looks like it's SEC/ Big 12 against the Pac 12/ Big 10 as far as the 4 team playoff votes go. Let's see whose agenda wins out. :popcorn2: Title: Re: Ohio State chickens out of Georgia Series Post by: Jamos on June 03, 2012, 06:54:56 AM I don't know why he would be afraid of the Dawgs, he owned them while he was at Florida!
