Title: Alabama Softball draws NCAA tournament's No. 2 overall seed Post by: pmull on May 14, 2012, 12:10:31 AM Alabama received the 2012 NCAA softball tournament's No. 2 overall seed Sunday, guaranteeing the Crimson Tide two consecutive weekends at Rhoads Stadium on its path to the Women's College World Series.
Of course, the Crimson Tide (50-7) has to win both this weekend's Regional and the following weekend's Super Regional to go back to Oklahoma City for the fourth time in five years. I watched a little of the Ga. Tech - Va. Tech game the other day and GT has some talent, but I don't see them standing up to Bama.

I hate to see the Lady Jags, who have played so well this season, have to go up against the Tide. I was hoping they would get in another regional. Coach Clark has done a fantastic job with this team this year.
