Quote A federal judge in Montgomery denied a motion to dismiss the civil lawsuit against former Auburn University football coach Tommy Tuberville that alleges a hedge fund he helped manage defrauded clients of more than $1.7 million. U.S. District Court Judge Myron Thompson denied Tuberville’s motion for dismissal Friday after the plaintiffs in the case filed an amended complaint offering further details of the former AU head coach’s alleged involvement in the fraud. Thompson ruled Tuberville has the option to renew his call for a dismissal.
