A federal judge in Montgomery denied a motion to dismiss the civil lawsuit against former Auburn University football coach Tommy Tuberville that alleges a hedge fund he helped manage defrauded clients of more than $1.7 million.

U.S. District Court Judge Myron Thompson denied Tuberville’s motion for dismissal Friday after the plaintiffs in the case filed an amended complaint offering further details of the former AU head coach’s alleged involvement in the fraud. Thompson ruled Tuberville has the option to renew his call for a dismissal.

The lawsuit alleges Tuberville, AU head coach from 1999 until 2008, and his business partner John David Stroud defrauded seven defendants who made investments with their various hedge funds between 2008 and 2011 of more than $1.7 million...

I always hate hearing about barners getting ripped off by other barners. Particularly when it involves matters in which you are sure that none of them know anything about. Like a box full of hamsters raping one another and fighting over food.
