Quote
The Alabama assembly line that has been cranking out running backs who compete for Heisman Trophies and draw first-round attention in NFL drafts unveiled a new high-performance model Saturday.

The name is T.J. Yeldon. He appears to run on eight cylinders, but it looks as if he might get very good mileage....

"T.J. Yeldon, he's a great back," said outside linebacker Adrian Hubbard, who led the White defense. "He's built. He's strong. Everybody thinks he's a young guy, he doesn't know stuff, but that's a great kid. He's going to be great, somebody to watch out for."........

Yeldon pretty much set the bar level for himself yesterday, as far as what to expect from him in the future. He had a very good day but this was just his first day and the big test for him lies ahead. Can he follow in the footsteps of his predecessors, Ingram and Richardson, and become a media darling? There will be many challenges ahead for him, on and off the field, and hopefully Lacy and Fowler can bring him along as a youngster and mold him into the superstar that he has a very good shot at making. One thing is for certain though, if he listens to his head coach, the road to stardom will be much smoother for him. Roll Tide!!

Why the hesitation about Yeldon?  Reason for concern, or just a young kid?

He's just a young kid. Having that kind of success at such an early stage in his college career is good but I want to see how he handles it with himself and his teammates as well as off the field. I'm just being a little pessimistic until I see more, nothing against the young man though.

CNS knew what he was doing when he recruited him, and I believe this kid has some Class or he wouldn't be in an Alabama football uniform. JMHO! RTR!
