Title: Newcomers Shine in A Day Game for Alabama-Article Post by: Marshal Dillon on April 14, 2012, 05:42:40 PM Good stuff.
It’s bad enough for SEC foes that Alabama returns more than a dozen starters from its 2011 BcS title-winning team. Now those same teams are faced with the prospect of having to deal with at least a couple of new recruits who may be ready to make an instant and immediate contribution as the Tide attempts pull off a repeat. http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/04/14/newcomers-shine-in-tides-a-day-finale/related/ Title: Re: Newcomers Shine in A Day Game for Alabama-Article Post by: Marshal Dillon on April 15, 2012, 08:08:09 AM Something tells me Yeldon is still will be the #3 RB, after Lacey & Fowler.

I'm betting he works his way into the #2 spot before the season is over. I'd be highly surprised to see him redshirt.:popcorn2: Title: Re: Newcomers Shine in A Day Game for Alabama-Article Post by: ricky023 on April 15, 2012, 03:32:17 PM it is hard to waste that much talent in a Running Back. Yeldon will be one to rest the others and bring in scores at the same time. RTR!

Will he be restricted to returning kicks? ??? Will he be restricted to returning kicks? ??? Dee Hart is a much different weapon than Lacey, Fowler, or Yeldon. I suspect that he will be involved in plays that change the look of the offense in ways that will confuse opposing Ds. For example, they could use him in 2 back sets with one of the bulls. The D will have to respect the inside run but can't ignore Hart as either a wide runner or a short pass threat. If the secondary overplays him we get Kenny Bell over the top. They can use his presence to spread the defense both horizontally and vertically. They can use him for shovel passes against the grain. Etc. Anyone know if Hart can throw it? Anyway, if all four of those guys are healthy and can be rotated the way we rotated Trent and Eddie and Fowler in the early part of last year, there are gonna be some tired D-linemen looking back at them come the third quarter. Our boys will be fresh as daisies.
