This is probably a blessing for the team though I hate to see their career at Bama end this way. CAG now has the luxury of getting 3 recruits this year versus the one.

Did both of them show up as tweet not found?  Is anybody else seeing "Tweet Not Found"?

Every tweet that you have posted is only a blue circle to me. Could it be pilot error on my end?

No, not at all.  It is something different about your computer.  It should show the blue circle for just a second while it connects to twitter to get the tweet.  If it doesn't hear back from twitter within 60 seconds it will timeout and show the Tweet Not Found message.

If there are others that see this then perhaps we can identify what you guys have in common that is causing it.  I suspect it is a certain combination of Windows XP and Internet Explorer.  Hopefully I can set up a test machine this weekend and see if I can make it happen.  If I can get a machine here that does it then I am pretty confident I can figure out a way to make it work correctly.

Mitchell was expected. Hankerson is a suprise. CAG needs to be on the recruiting trail to get three excellant recruits for next year. IMO we need a JUCO forward who can help us next year. We are good with guards. I have convienence that CAG knows what he is doing.

I hate to see Hankerson leave. I thought he had real promise and was a good fit for the team. Would like to know what the circumstances were with him.

I just wish I knew what Mitchell did. Was it drugs, causing dissension on the team, or what? Like you, I am shocked to see Hankerson leave. I think he wants more playing time.

Good points.  Mitchell was probably coach's decision.  Hankerson might have decided to leave on his own.

Doh!  Do you know what version of Internet Explorer you have?  I'm guessing it is version 6.  I was able to fix the issue for version 7 but I don't have it working in version 6 yet.

By the way, the error message should show a link to the tweet over on twitter now that you can click on if all else fails.

Awesome!  Actually Jamos you have been very helpful.  There are lots of visitors to this site who have the same setup you have, and I'm sure they couldn't see them either.  I have a test machine with that same setup now so I can test things like this easily in the future.

It was really a problem between Twitter and Microsoft, but I was able to fix it here so it doesn't impact our site.

I am not going to worry about Internet Explorer version 6 since it is over 10 years old.  It has numerous other problems besides the embedded tweets and I would be shocked if anyone out there is still using it.

If it helped some other folks also that makes me even happier, you did a very good job.  #+
