Classic BR answer to a BR report question.

Bleacher Report: Alabama Football: Julio Jones Left a Void Only a Bow-Man Can Fill (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/644405-alabama-football-jones-left-a-void-only-a-man-can-fill-bow-man-that-is)

But, BR aspects aside (which oftentimes get a bad reputation as there truly are some good opinions produced by some of their writers), I agree that Bowman is in position to be a dominant player for us this year.  I love his size, speed, and athleticism.  He could be a very dominant red zone threat for us the next 3 years.

Does anyone know how fast Bowman is?  If he played with the TE's last year I would expect him to be a little slow for WR.

He has a low of 4.5 and a high time of 4.68 listed.  He is not a blazer, but it is size and build that set him apart as a red zone threat where separation speed gives way to the importance of ball skills, body position, and size.  I remember multiple reports his freshman year that he was tearing up our first team D in practice.  As a result he was the only true freshman to see the field in 2009.

Multiple reasons were rumored for the TE experiment, but I am glad to see him back at WR where I think he'll be a huge weapon for us.

That is great point about the red zone.  We have really needed some help in that area the last few years.
