Florida QB Danny Wuerffel, the 1996 Heisman Trophy winner, is one of the 11 former SEC stars on this year's ballot for the College Football Hall of Fame, which includes three players from Alabama.

Wuerffel and Alabama C/LB Paul Crane, a former Vigor High School star, are the SEC players new to the ballot this year.

Holdovers from last year's ballot among this year's nominees are Tennessee WR Willie Gault, Alabama RB Bobby Humphrey, Tennessee DB Bobby Majors, Tennessee LB Paul Naumoff, Georgia OT Matt Stinchcomb, Alabama LB Derrick Thomas, Ole Miss TE Wesley Walls and Georgia DB Scott Woerner....
