Title: I am getting tired... Post by: hscoach on February 16, 2012, 10:11:06 AM I am getting tired of hearing about the SEC and what a bunch of cheaters they are. Let me give a few example. Out here in Tx, I still wonder how one of our athletes got into UT with his grades. Also another teacher/friend of mine live down the street from a player that ended up going to A&M and the next thing you know he is driving a new Escalade as well as his father. I am sure there are more examples in other conferences, but I am tired of people/writers suggesting the only reason the SEC wins is because they cheat.

Title: Re: I am getting tired... Post by: Marshal Dillon on February 16, 2012, 10:31:16 AM Media myths are hard to kill. It took 6 consecutive NC's to get the media to stop talking about the greatness of Big Ten football and how it was the best brand of football. Eight teams in the Big Ten have been placed on probation, but you wouldn't know it from the media coverage. Coaches of programs who don't meet expectations now have a convienent scapegoat for their failures, blame cheating in the SEC.

Just imagine the thought if Alabama or anyone in the SEC wins another championship this year. We will really hear crying and screaming. I do think as before mentioned that it is sour grapes. RTR!
