They prolly were on drugs of some sort. Meth kills, y'all. But this ain't one of 'em. If by "Sand Mountain" you mean redneck meth labs, I think Franklin County is the Sand Mountain of Franklin County. Except for where my family lives, of course :) Title: Re: Exorcism in Russellville area Post by: SeniorTSM on February 16, 2012, 12:19:13 PM Im from Fort payne "lookout Mountain" and Sand Mountain was the bad mountain...ha
They are some back woods people, probably dont have internet. They were always proud to say if you were a certain color don't get cought on sand Mountain after dark. I'm from over in the Shoals so I'm no stranger to Franklin County...my brother used to live in Red Bay. I think Sand Mountain is like Franklin County on meth though. Title: Re: Exorcism in Russellville area Post by: ricky023 on February 16, 2012, 01:00:25 PM Well the Bible says in the end times guys and ladies that the daughter would turn against mothers and mothers against daughters and daughter-in-laws also. It is happening before our eyes. Look up your redemption draweth nigh.
This to be expected although we really need to pray for these folks. RTR! Title: Re: Exorcism in Russellville area Post by: MLB10 on February 16, 2012, 01:16:31 PM When I lived there it was just what I would call good country people. I'm sure there are some racists and some people with no internet...honestly that's sprinkled everywhere. Mountain people are always a skosh more peculiar IMO. Maybe it's thinner air, I dunno...It's really a foothill of the Appalachians more than a true mountain but you can't drive too crappy of a car up that steep grade regularly. I lived at the bottom of another "mountain" and there really seemed to be a difference between those who lived "on the mountain" and those who did not. Now that I moved away, it seems it is just not the same anymore in the rural communities. Old timers die and their kids who were raised to value education and work hard seem to move off and find a good job. The only people who will rent the houses in the boonies then are people who can't afford something close to town or want to be up to no good without cops right by. Recipe for trouble. It's really sad.

Hey ricky, as a minister what is your stance on exorcisms? Well from my understanding of the Bible those who are filled with the Holy Ghost and chosen by Jesus to have that gift can drive out demons. This stuff they did is absolutely not what the Bible talks about. It does say there will be false doctrines and this is purely false doctrines and false disciples. I just pray that they can get forgiveness and come to know Jesus. RTR! God Bless! MLB, FWIW, I had trouble with CRS using Firefox and went to Google Chrome. And since i live near the other state line I can say that goes for Jackson county Florida as well. But they are correct. Wemmins is the devil! ( Quote from a football movie, so it helps keep the thread sports related). Poor Zack never stood a chance against those three.
