Quote
High schoolers taller than seven feet are often thin as a nail or awkwardly immobile. Ndiaye is neither.

Last summer an opposing team pressed Brethren but left Ndiaye open at halfcourt. With his long stride, Ndiaye took two dribbles and already was dunking the basketball.

I wonder if CAG has his eye on this kid?

I sure hope so, we need some players who can play 4 Qtrs. in my opinion. They also hunger to win and stand tall above all others. We seem to not have that hunger is needed to win most all games or even a big one sometimes. I look forward to when we can push Vandy around and play KY. so hard they are scared when they leave our gym. RTR!

Preacher, at 7' 5" and over 300 lbs. He would definitely stand above the others and push people around. This guy could make Shaq look like a finesse player.  :D

A while back, a good while back, UAB had a 7' - 5" or so player and he didn't seem to workout so well. Just wasn't a good basketball player.

Yeah, I remember him Coach. According to the article, this kid is athletic and has skill and isn't thin like most plus 7 footers. I guess only time will tell.

They're bad about eating the basketballs.

In today's game he would need to be able to run the floor, the speed of the game is very fast. I wish there was some video on him, I would like to see him play.

There are several videos on youtube. He is slow. He is playing in a class equal to 2A in Alabama. He does not jump. That will work against 6'-2" centers in 2A but not college. Very clumsy.

Someone asked about Minute Bol, "Does he have heart?" The answer was that he once killed a lion after his little brother with a stick!

Here you go, J. Most of the footage is of him under the basket, but they do show him running the floor once or twice. Looks like he can cover it. He's pretty athletic for a guy that big, even though he is playing against very small HS players.

Aside from playing against what appears to be 9 year olds, he seems to be afraid (or has been taught) to never pick up his pivot foot. JG would make him cry.

There is no quick-fix gimmick to Bama success. The old-fashion way is being employed by CAG and much progress is being made.
