Post by: ALTideUp on January 11, 2012, 03:11:55 PM
Tiger Bait - A call or salutation, deriving from the Creole culture of southern Louisianna, having several diverse uses and meanings:

1. To ask opposing football teams to "please take the shining crystal egg back to your school because we are not men enough to have it here".

2. To communicate to passersby the availability one's female family members for services at very affordable price.

3. An old expression shortened to the modern word "rebate. Originally used to demand ticket money back at football games for which one's team failed to show up.
