"I think we dominated in all phases of the game from start to finish," said Baltimore athlete Cyrus Jones, who committed to the Tide last week during the Under Armour All-American Game. "The game wasn't going to be won on offense. The key was holding LSU in check and minimizing mistakes. It was just a tremendous win."

Roanoke junior offensive lineman Bradley Bozeman, one of the first players to commit to the Crimson Tide for the 2013 recruiting class, also had strong praise for the defense's effort.

"It was the best defensive performance I have ever seen," Bozeman told BamaOnline. "It was a perfect performance to only allow LSU to cross the 50 yard line one time. I can't wait to get to Alabama and win another one. I think they will get #15 next season."

Perhaps even more crucial for the Tide were the reactions of prospects that have not yet committed to play for Alabama. Dayton, Ohio star Cameron Burrows, rated as one of the top defensive back prospects in the nation for the Class of 2013, said he was impressed with how hungry the Tide players looked during the game.

Awesome!  Wish I had a video of Mama Collins finding out who the REAL number 1 is!!!  Bet Landon is feeling pretty darn happy about his choice!

Love how jones is already using"WE" when talking about Alabama- he is committed to his choice!  Great mentality!

"Well, the best team won, they went out there and executed," said Burrows. "The team with the least mistakes/penalties won. I think they wanted it more. Like a wise man once told me, it's like having two dogs of the same breed, gender, age, etc. and the only difference in the dogs is that one dog is being fed and one isn't. You put a steak in the middle of them and see what happens. Bama was the dog not being fed and they got the steak."
