Last year is over nothing we can do to change it. We can change the future and that includes habits that are bad, hatred from the heart. This is the year you can accept Christ as Lord and Saviour and grow in his Word. You can draw closer to answers you've missed before. Kind words you never spoke in the past, it is time for those to pass our lips.
Learning of ways to be in the presence of the Lord, is this not worth our listening and reading his words. One thing I truly love about my salvation is that I am in the eyes of the Lord at all times. I can put trust in someone who will not fail me, who will stick closer than a brother. I say to you this question today, if Jesus stood before you right now what would he find in your heart and what words would you say?
Jesus said in his word that the earth is mine and the fullness thereof, so that means that you are part of all his fullness. Should you not have access to all his worth? Changing your ways could be a part of life that not only affects you but also your family. This year you could make a child smile because of love, or support.
Our children have a future that only one person could improve. Most students today who graduate high school are ask, what are going to do with excitement? Their reply is "Be unemployed." This is not the future we want for our kids, I would hope. If everything else is failing then give Jesus a try and see how he does for your children. I venture to say he can't and won't do any worse than the men we have trusted our children's' future to.
