One thing I am NOT doing. I was over at a certain friend's house back in November to watch the Who game. He invited me over to watch tonight, but I conveniently had other plans. To much riding on tonight to take any chances.  :tinfoil:

Snowing outside. Both fireplaces are loaded, building a bed of hot coals toward gametime. I can bank both fires with the big stuff so I won't have to play with it during the game, if the coals are hot. The Fire Marshall (youngest boy) will play with it anyway. Favorite sandwiches this afternoon,- pastrami, provolone, pumpernickel. Appetizers for the game so eating is easy. Chicken livers wrapped in bacon, swedish meatballs, cheese balls, potato skins, homemade BBQ potato chips. Cashews still around from New Years. Cherry tarts from the bakery. All my favorites. RTR to MRSBAMAWV.

I will be drinking beer. It's a tradition I started in 1971. I've discovered over the years that Bama wins more games when I drink beer, so I drink beer every time I watch Bama on the tube.

I am aleady dressed for the game. My lucky Bama shirt (short sleeve) is under my Bama sweatshirt. I am also wearing my lucky hat. Tonight I will be sitting in my lucky chair. We are having a two couples (golf buddies and Bama comrades) over for the game. The wife is getting a Chick-Fil-A party platter and I am sure she will have other good stuff. I'm in charge of stocking the cooler.

My ritual will be every game we play that I can think of, I will go in my special place and PRAY! RTR!

On game day I like 30 minutes by myself to dedicate a couple of songs to team. I read some articles this am and got clue for one song pick. Coach Saban likes Al Green.  Danced by myself in my little fantasy world to Al Green - Let's stay together - YouTube  blowing kisses to all the team and coaches. Extra kisses to my favorite players.   Do not laugh at me. :) I then went out and spent some money shopping and had my hair styled for Alabama party we are attending tonight. Roll Tide!   

I pull out my big game Shaun Alexander throwback jersey. I also bought a six pack (the last one I could find of the Blue Moon winter ale) and made a pot of green chile queso. Roll Tide!!
