that many points, it just gets plain silly.  Might as well be watching basketball.

Agreed. It turns football into a 60 min. soccer overtime: the team that happens to fail to score on a possession loses. Meh. Not for me.

Maybe they can score those games like basketball.  3 points for a TD, 1 for a FG or EP (since FGs are considered unsuccessful drives).

Why have a DC. The tv guys said the offense does well because of TX 7-7 in the summer. I don't buy that. There is a defense. Don't they try and stop them. Where is the pride.

How were games scored back in the day? Weren't field goals worth 4 points and TDs only worth like 2, or something like that?
