Reporters asked Alabama’s defensive star if missing out on several national individual awards he and teammates were up for would serve as extra motivation.

Great accomplishment with the graduation.  I, like many, think Bama was slighted on many awards.  I guess what hurt the defensive players on Bama was that so many did their jobs and did them effectively that it was hard to pick out an individual.  I believe he and many of his teammates will find success no matter which path opens for them. 
They are still in contention for the ultimate prize, the National Championship.  Many of those other players would trade their trophies for a chance at that.
