Title: Alabama spring football practice begins today Post by: Terrie1959 on March 21, 2011, 08:57:05 AM TUSCALOOSA -- The most critical teaching portion of the football year begins today when Alabama's spring practice kicks off.
Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban said recently he was happy with the progress made during Alabama's notorious off-season conditioning program called the "Fourth Quarter Program." The grueling workouts are designed to improve strength and stamina to prepare players for the physical rigors they will face the next four weeks and beyond. http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2011/03/alabama_spring_football_practi_1.html (http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2011/03/alabama_spring_football_practi_1.html) Title: Re: Alabama spring football practice begins today Post by: XBAMA on March 21, 2011, 09:10:14 AM any word on MB ? did Coach kill him yet ? ;D

Title: Re: Alabama spring football practice begins today Post by: Terrie1959 on March 21, 2011, 10:11:28 AM I haven't been able to find anything yet. I'm betting that we won't hear anything until AFTER practice when CNS has his press conference.
I know I'm feeling a little sympathy for MB. I mean, what he did was dumb but man, is he going to pay for it. Make him watch the Heisman award and the national championship game. After all that aubie love, MB will be sufficiently punished (and, as a welcome consequence, ready to tear off the heads of opposing players). Title: Re: Alabama spring football practice begins today Post by: ricky023 on March 21, 2011, 05:14:09 PM Well one thing I wish we could do, is quit bringing up the old players. They were a great part of the Alabama family but now we need to talk about our guys and move on. We wish them well in their future in NFL or whatever they choose.
I want to know about QBs and O-line. I want to know we have speed in our Return game and we actually learn how to stop the other team before the 40/50 yard line. I want to know the Defense is ready to stop a Lattimore type back. I know we won't see him till the SECCG. Our DB needs to break up passes in the right coverage w/o getting snookered. Three names come to mind, Robert Lester, Mark Barron, and Robby Green what a bunch of head hunting DBs. I want to know our kickers can punt the ball and kick that game winning FG from 50 yds if need be. Wooo,,,lordy my chill bumps are here. I'm ready to gear up right now and see what we got. This year I want our hardest game to play to be Spring Practice at A-Day. OH Yeaaaaaaa. RTR! |
